How do I know it's real copper?
Hold a magnet to it: nothing happens, because copper isn't magnetic, while most plated steel sticks. Tamrill is 99.9% pure copper, lab-tested in-house, with no plating, coating, liner or lacquer. Over time it darkens to a warm patina; plating would peel.
How many wands do I need?
One wand per 12-48 oz of water. One pack of two covers a 2-liter jug or dispenser, or your bottle plus a pitcher. For a big fridge jug or a whole family, take 2 or 3 packs.
How long do I leave it in?
4-8 hours, or overnight, then lift it out and drink. Plenty of buyers leave it in for a full day; it's plain water and copper, nothing else.
Does it work in steel or plastic bottles? Cold water?
Yes. Glass, stainless steel, ceramic and BPA-free plastic bottles, pitchers, fridge jugs, filter pitchers and dispensers all work. Use plain drinking water, cold or room temperature.
Is it safe? Can you get too much copper?
Use it the way it's made: plain drinking water, 4-8 hours, then take it out before you drink. Never in lemon water, juice, vinegar drinks, fizzy or hot drinks. If your doctor has told you to limit copper, ask them first. It's small, so keep it away from young children.
Will my water taste metallic?
