No. Rootara glides side to side, 8 mm, and never spins, so there's nothing to wrap your hair around. Curly, coily or very fine hair: start on level 1-3, work in sections and keep it moving.
Does it really help my hair grow?

Can I use it on my face?

What does the red light do? Can I turn it off?
50 LEDs at 660 nm, 3 brightness levels, on their own button. Use it on your scalp every session; if your skin is sensitive to light, massage your face with the light off.
How long, and how often?
Five minutes on your scalp, a couple of minutes on your face, once a day. It switches itself off after 10 minutes.
Can I use it with my serum or hair oil?
Yes, that's the point: apply it first and Rootara works it into the roots. Your free root serum applicator puts it right on the roots. Wash the silicone head afterwards.
How do I charge it? Does it come with a dock?
It charges with the included USB-C cable from any phone plug, about 180 minutes per charge. There's no dock; nothing to keep on your counter.
How do I clean it?
Peel the silicone head off and wash it with soap and water. A spare head and a cleaning brush are in the box.
Can I use it with extensions?
